Founder & Lead Engineer

Andy Nguyen

As the Founder and Lead Engineer of Modern Methods, Andy combines a passion for technology with a practical understanding of business operations to help organizations work more efficiently through automation. His focus is on designing solutions that eliminate repetitive tasks, streamline workflows, and integrate the systems businesses rely on every day.

Across custom software, API integrations, and automated data pipelines, Andy approaches complex problems with reliable, scalable technology. His experience spans software development, data engineering, cloud technologies, and business process automation.

Andy earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Western Governors University and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Analytics at the Georgia Institute of Technology, further strengthening his expertise in data-driven decision-making and advanced analytics.

At Modern Methods, he leads both the technical vision and client engagements, working closely with businesses to understand their goals and develop solutions that deliver measurable results.

Platform Integration Engineer

Nathan Kim

Nathan brings experience in platform engineering, business intelligence, and healthcare technology to the Modern Methods team. He has spent the past several years building and supporting enterprise platforms.

Before joining Nordic Global as a Platform Engineer, Nathan worked with Bon Secours Health System, where he advanced from Business Intelligence Developer to Platform Engineer. That background gives him a strong understanding of both the data and infrastructure sides of technology.

As Platform Integration Engineer, Nathan helps connect systems, improve workflows, and ensure different tools work together reliably. His experience in complex healthcare environments is especially valuable when projects require careful planning, secure integrations, and dependable technical execution.

David Hibner

David brings a strong blend of financial, analytical, and business leadership experience to Modern Methods. His background allows him to bridge technical data analysis with strategic business decision-making.

Throughout his career at Northrop Grumman, David has advanced from Business Analyst to Principal Business Management Analyst and now Business Manager. His experience supporting large-scale programs has strengthened his expertise in financial planning, operational analysis, process improvement, and executive-level reporting.

As Sr. Business Analyst, David transforms complex business challenges into clear, actionable strategies. He analyzes client needs, develops solution-focused recommendations, and creates polished presentations and deliverables that help organizations make informed decisions.

Scott Lestz

Throughout his career, Scott has gained experience in reporting, marketing technology, and data operations through roles at organizations including MetLife and Gambling.com Group.

As Systems Support Engineer, Scott helps ensure systems run smoothly while supporting technical troubleshooting, process improvements, and day-to-day operational needs. His diverse background allows him to approach challenges from both a technical and business perspective, making him a reliable resource for solving problems and keeping projects moving forward.

Samuel Amaya

Samuel brings a strong background in customer relations, financial services, and business operations to the Modern Methods team. His experience across banking, lending, and member services has strengthened his ability to build trust, identify opportunities, and develop lasting professional relationships.

His background in sales, finance, and operations gives him a well-rounded understanding of how businesses grow and how strong client relationships drive long-term success. With experience leading teams and working directly with customers, he excels at understanding client needs and identifying opportunities to create value.

As our Senior Business Development Associate, Samuel focuses on building partnerships, identifying new opportunities, and helping organizations discover how Modern Methods can improve their operations through automation and technology. His relationship-first approach, combined with his business acumen, makes him a key contributor to the company's continued growth.

Business Development Associate

Eddy Carias

Eddy brings hands-on experience in service operations, customer relations, and business development to the Modern Methods team. Through his work in the HVAC and mechanical services industry, he has developed a strong understanding of how businesses manage day-to-day operations, coordinate field teams, and deliver quality service to customers.

Throughout his career, Eddy has worked closely with customers, technicians, and internal teams to ensure projects and service requests move smoothly from start to finish. His background gives him firsthand insight into how job orders are created, scheduled, tracked, and completed, as well as how operational workflows directly affect customer satisfaction and business performance.

As Business Development Associate, Eddy focuses on building relationships with prospective clients and identifying opportunities where automation and technology can improve business operations. His ability to understand companies from both an operational and customer perspective helps him recognize inefficiencies and connect organizations with practical solutions that support long-term growth.
